Institute of Meat and Worshipful Company of Butchers Prize-giving is a Royal Celebration

The achievements of butchery apprentices, their training providers and employers were celebrated at the IoM annual prize-giving on 21st February, at The Painters Hall, London.  HRH The Princess Royal presented the awards, in conjunction with IoM Chief Executive, Keith Fisher (MB.Inst.M). The event was attended by over a hundred guests and is a tradition dating back over a quarter of a century. The overall winner, who won the Champion Meat Apprentice of the Year Award was Jack White from Cranswick Country Foods. Jack took home prize money of £750, the winners trophy and certificate, plus a years membership of the Institute of Meat. The category winners were:
