Geoff Lamb
Business Engagement Manager for Ireland
Geoff works to expand the reach of FTC in Ireland both north and south of the border. He liaises with all parts of the food and drink industry to identify where the gaps are in the training and education. He works with Government and Training Providers to meet those needs.
Prior to his work for FTC, Geoff had a twenty-year career with Food and Drink Sector Skills, a Northern Ireland based organisation with similar objectives to FTC. He began his career as a Manager with Moy Park and subsequently the packaging company Smurfit.
He has had the distinction of attending Ulster University in four different decades and holds, amongst other qualifications, two Masters degrees. He is a member of the Institute of Physics and an Associate of the CIPD.
In his spare time, he enjoys watching rugby at his local club where he is a volunteer, and genealogical research.
